📋 Ordering Process
Start by filling out our quote request form with your project details. We'll then create a free artwork proof for you to review. Once you approve the design, we'll provide a detailed quote. After you approve the quote and submit payment, we'll begin production. It's that simple!
While we can accommodate orders as small as 25-50 pins, our pricing becomes more economical at higher quantities. We'll work with you to find the right quantity for your budget and needs.
Absolutely! Many customers order complete sets for years of service programs (5, 10, 15, 20, 30 years) or multiple designs for different departments. Each design requires its own mold, which affects pricing, but we'll provide a comprehensive quote for your entire project.
Yes! We keep your mold on file for future reorders, which means no setup fees on repeat orders (typically for 2 years). Reordering is quick and easy—just let us know the quantity you need.
🎨 Design & Artwork
Yes! We provide professional artwork design at no charge. Just send us your logo, ideas, or reference images, and our design team will create a detailed proof showing exactly how your pins will look. You can request unlimited revisions until you're completely satisfied.
Perfect! We accept vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) and high-resolution raster images (PNG, JPG at 300+ DPI). Send us your files and we'll review them to ensure they're optimized for pin production. We'll still provide a detailed proof for your approval before manufacturing.
For enamel pins, we typically include up to 5 colors in the base price. You can add more colors, but each additional color increases the cost slightly (usually $0.15 per pin per color). For printed pins, we can reproduce full-color designs with unlimited colors.
Yes! We can match Pantone (PMS) colors or hex codes. Provide us with your brand's color specifications and we'll ensure your pins accurately represent your organization's colors.
💰 Pricing & Payment
Pricing depends on many factors: pin size, type (soft enamel, hard enamel, etc.), quantity, number of colors, special features (epoxy, glitter, etc.), and backing type. Our pricing guide provides estimates, but for an accurate quote specific to your project, request a free quote and we'll provide detailed pricing.
No hidden fees! Our quotes include everything: free artwork, mold/setup costs, production, standard packaging (poly bags), and shipping within the USA. The only additional costs would be optional upgrades you choose (like premium packaging or special features).
We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and purchase orders for approved accounts. Payment is required before production begins to ensure your order moves into manufacturing immediately.
Yes! The per-pin cost decreases significantly as quantity increases. This is because setup and mold costs are spread across more units. Check our pricing guide for estimates at different quantities.
⏱️ Production & Delivery
Standard production time is 4-6 weeks from the date of design approval and payment. This timeline ensures we maintain our high quality standards—every pin is carefully manufactured and thoroughly inspected before shipping. We prioritize getting it right over getting it fast.
We focus on quality over speed, and our standard 4-6 week production timeline ensures every detail is perfect. We don't currently offer rush production as we believe in taking the time necessary to deliver exceptional pins that exceed your expectations.
Pins are individually packaged in poly bags (or upgraded packaging if selected) and shipped in protective boxes. We provide tracking information once your order ships. Standard shipping within the USA is included in your quote.
We provide a detailed digital proof showing exactly how your pins will look, including colors, dimensions, and finishes. Physical samples can be arranged for large orders, but this adds to the production timeline and cost. Most customers are completely satisfied with our detailed digital proofs.
🔧 Technical Questions
Soft enamel pins have raised metal borders with recessed enamel, creating a textured feel. They're our most popular and cost-effective option.
Hard enamel pins are polished flat for a smooth, jewelry-quality finish. The enamel is level with the metal lines, creating a premium look and feel.
We offer several backing options:
- Butterfly clutch: Standard metal clasp (included)
- Rubber clutch: More secure grip (+$0.15/pin)
- Magnetic backing: No holes in fabric (+$0.60/pin)
- Safety pin: Secure for heavier pins (+$0.20/pin)
- Tie tack: For tie or lapel wear (+$0.30/pin)
Pins can be manufactured in virtually any size, but the most common ranges are 0.75" to 2". Smaller sizes (0.75"-1") are economical and work well for simple designs. Larger sizes (1.5"-2"+) provide more detail but cost more. We'll help you choose the ideal size for your design and budget.
Yes! We offer many special features including:
- Glitter enamel (sparkly finish)
